Millions of youth in this country are growing up without access to the educational opportunities that will support their development as America’s next marketplace leaders. This lack of access usually exists among a rampant cycle of poverty and dire socioeconomic environments. It is an epidemic that is threatening the future of children in our communities and impacting the provision of education that can help end this cycle. More than 63% (45 million children in America) are considered to be living in low-income dwellings. What does this mean without intervention? It means that we are at risk of losing generations of intelligence, creativity and innovation to help shape our present and future. Even more importantly, we are chancing the loss of positive impact by this generation
and their unique mark upon history—that is unless we step up our efforts to give equitable access to these youth.
The Gifted Education Foundation is a non-profit organization, whose vision is to be the most accessible career and life development organization in America. It’s driven by a mission to produce marketplace leaders from low-income communities across America. We aim to be a major catalyst in providing students with what they need to succeed in high school, college and in the workplace. Join us in this movement. The next generation of our nation’s leaders are counting on you.
